(TW: Rape/Rape Culture) [Submission:] The faulty logic of a rapist.

From the mouth of a convicted rapist, who in his spare time also steals women’s underwear and returns them slashed, who has now moved next door to his victim and in some loophole of sense in NZ law is allowed to stay there:

“If I can get over it, why can’t she? It’s past tense.”

I don’t even know where to let my outrage begin, at the lack of legislative power of the police, the deficiency of victim rights or support, or at the clusterfuck statement above. Oh, but I guess everyone should just get over it, like he has, because if anyone has the credentials to provide a model of human behaviour it should be a criminal who insists on destroying his victim’s life, again.
